RATES – We charge £100/night for a double room or £85/night for single occupancy. This includes breakfast and a pot of tea on arrival.
You may also find our rooms available through booking.com and tripadvisor.com , generally for £120/night. We prefer to take reservations directly, but we recognise that some guests find the ease of making reservations through our partners compelling!
ARRIVAL – We welcome guest arrivals from 4:00pm, but we always try to accommodate guests’ needs (and usually succeed!) It’s always helpful for us to know guests’ travel plans and estimated arrival times just so that we can make sure to be around on arrival and not out walking the dogs.
DEPARTURE – We encourage guests to depart by 10:30am in order to enable us to prepare rooms for guests arriving later. However, if you would like to check out later than this don’t hesitate to ask, as if there are no guests arriving later that day we are always happy for guests to stay longer.
RESERVATIONS – Please telephone us (01451 860222) or e-mail us to check room availability and to make a booking. A credit card number for which we can obtain an authorisation (but which we will not charge before your departure) will secure your reservation.
MINIMUM STAY – In the Summer months (from 1st April to 30th September) we only take bookings for a minimum of two nights at weekends. We honestly believe guests benefit from a two-night stay to enjoy the peace and calm of Yew Tree Cottage. We make it a minimum three-night stay for Bank Holiday and Easter weekends.
CANCELLATIONS – sadly cancellations must occur sometimes: just let us know as soon as you can. We don’t charge if the booking has been made directly with us, but bookings made through booking.com and tripadvisor.com may still attract a charge if cancelled close to the scheduled arrival date.
PAYMENT – we accept cash, VISA, MasterCard and bank debit cards and we charge guests on departure.
